Qatar Visa for Singaporean Citizens
Visa-Free Entry for Singaporeans
Good news for Singaporean travelers. You can enter Qatar without a visa. This applies to short visits of up to 30 days. On arrival, you receive a visa waiver directly at the airport. This waiver allows single or multiple entries.
Visa Waiver Conditions
To receive the waiver, you must meet some conditions:
- your passport must be valid for at least six months,
- you need health insurance for your whole trip from a provider approved by the Qatar Ministry of Public Health,
- show you have enough money for your visit,
- possess a confirmed onward or return ticket,
- provide proof of a hotel booking,
- your airline must confirm you can board.
Visa Extension
Need to stay longer? You can extend your waiver. However, this extension is granted only once. It adds another 30 days to your stay. Your application needs immigration approval.
Tourist Visa
If you plan a trip longer than 60 days, you need a Tourist Visa. Apply for this through the Hayya portal. This visa lets you stay for up to 90 days. For example, you will need a valid passport. In addition, you must provide a photo, return ticket, and hotel booking.
Business Visa
Are you attending a conference or trade fair? Then you will need a Business Visa. You must have an invitation letter. This should come from a Qatari organization. You also need to show proof of funds. The visa is valid for up to 90 days.
Family Visit Visa
You can visit relatives in Qatar with a Family Visit Visa. A family member in Qatar must sponsor you. For this, they need a valid Qatar ID. You must also prove your relationship. This visa can last for up to six months.
