Visa Validity

Your Qatar Transit e-Visa is valid for up to 96 hours. This period starts from the moment you arrive in Qatar. You cannot extend this visa. Overstaying is a serious matter. The Ministry of Interior may issue large fines for violations.

Visa Requirements

your passport must be valid for at least three months, however, we strongly advise six months of validity,

holders of a UAE residence permit need 3 months of validity on their permit.

Application Process via Hayya Portal

You must apply through the official Hayya Portal. Processing usually takes three to seven business days. Therefore, you should apply early to prevent travel delays. Try to apply at least five business days before your trip. The portal also handles other visas. For instance, it processes Tourist and GCC Resident visas.
