Operating Hours
The embassy is open from Sunday to Thursday. Hours are from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. However, you must book an appointment for all consular services.
Consular Services

- Visa Issuance: all visa applications are processed through VFS Global. This includes tourist, business, student, and work visas. For example, you need a valid passport, an application form, and proof of your stay,

- Document Legalization and Authentication: we also legalize documents for official use in Portugal. This service covers papers like diplomas and birth certificates.
How do I apply for a visa?
Submit your application at the VFS Global center in Doha. A service charge of QAR 136 applies to applications. Visa fees vary by age and category.
How can I renew my passport?
First, book a time slot using the online system. You must complete the official passport application form. Then, submit all your documents at the embassy.
How does emergency assistance work?
The embassy offers 24/7 help for urgent needs. For example, in case of an accident or lost passport. Call the emergency line at +974 3363 9594.
Online Appointment System
You must use the online system for most services. It can be found on the embassy’s official website. However, some tasks require extra steps. For complex registrations, such as a birth or marriage, email the Consular Section first.
