Hayya A3 Visa (Visa with ETA)
Do you have a visa for the US, UK, or Canada? you could get the Hayya A3 visa, this also applies to permits from Schengen countries. it allows a 30-day stay for just QAR 100. benefits include pre-approval and using e-gates, however, you cannot extend this specific visa.

Work and Residency Visas
Want to work or live in Qatar long-term? you will need a work or residency visa. a Qatari employer must sponsor your application. they help you apply to the Qatari Ministry of Interior, you must provide a contract and medical tests. in addition, you may need school certificates.

Passport Validity
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months. this is counted from your arrival date, however, the Hayya A3 visa has a lesser rule. you only need 3 months of validity for that. always check with your airline and the Qatari embassy.

Just passing through Doha? get a transit visa. it is perfect for layovers of 5 to 96 hours, the visa costs a fee of QAR 100. you cannot extend it, you also cannot use it to stay in Doha.

Visa Denials

Family Visas
