Visa-Free Entry for French Citizens

French citizens can enter Qatar without a visa for tourism purposes. You can stay for up to 90 days in one long trip or across several visits within a 180-day period. However, your passport needs at least three months of validity from your arrival. An immigration officer might ask for your return flight ticket. Hayya A1 Tourist Visa

In Qatar, VFS Global handles visa services for French citizens living in Qatar. First, book an appointment on the VFS Global website, then submit your documents and provide biometric data, such as your fingerprints and a photo. The service fee is QAR 136, but visa fees can vary. Furthermore, processing times depend on application numbers.

Passport Validity Rules

Pay close attention to your passport validity, as the rules are important. For visa-free entry, you need three months of validity. However, the rule changes for other visa types like the Hayya A1 Tourist Visa, which requires six-month validity. Most other visas require this too.
