Hayya A1 Tourist Visa
The Hayya A1 Tourist Visa lets you stay for up to 30 days. You can extend it one time for 30 more days. You must apply for this visa on the Hayya platform. You will need a passport with six months of validity, a recent photo, a confirmed return flight ticket, and proof of accommodation. Booking with Discover Qatar is a good idea. Visa fees change based on the package. Processing times vary, so apply early.
Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA)
You may qualify for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) if you have a valid visa or residency from certain places like the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada. Schengen countries, Australia, and New Zealand also count. The ETA has a fee of around 32.50 USD. You must upload proof of your valid visa or residency. ETAs are often approved quickly; however, approval is not guaranteed.
Qatar e-Visa
The e-Visa is another choice available on the Hayya platform. Its rules are similar to the Hayya A1 Tourist Visa. You must have a valid passport, a travel plan, and verified accommodation. Check the Hayya portal for current visa fees and times, as they change often.
GCC Resident and Companion Visas
If you live in a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) country, like Saudi Arabia or the UAE, you may be able to get a GCC Resident Visa. You will need to show proof of your GCC residency, a valid passport, a recent photo, a confirmed ticket, and lodging proof. The GCC Companion Visa is for those traveling with GCC residents, and you must prove your relationship to the resident. All other standard documents are also required.

Possibility of a Visa-Free Agreement
Currently, Vietnamese citizens cannot enter Qatar without a visa. This might change one day as leaders discuss a possible visa-free agreement. However, there is no official change yet. For now, you must get a visa to travel, unless eligible for an ETA.
